Thank you immensely for posting this, Luke. Some of us could not make it on Saturday and this has allowed us to share in that a bit. May God continue to bring you peace and comfort during this time.

Thank you for sharing Russ's incredible life with us all. What an amazing man! His life will continue to touch many, through his wife, children and grandchildren-He may be gone from this earth, but his legacy lives on!

I feel bad for not viewing this blog as much as I wanted to. Weird way to start I know, but I want to tell you Cody and your family, how much you have meant to me. I had the chance of talking with Mr. Bishop for a little while and I tried so incredibly hard to keep a smile on my face. His testimony was so special to me and how much he pushed through everything was amazing. I talked with him not only about his illness, because I know that was always on his mind and he was probably questioned many times that day by others, but I talked with him about all of the good times and of course about Cody. I told him about how much Cody has helped me through with school and friends, without him knowing it and how much his friendship means to me. It put a smile on his face just like I wanted. I told Mr. Bishop that I would be praying for him and his family, and he rewarded me with a hug. Truly and honestly I wish I could have had more time to talk with him, but that 20 minutes was the highlight of my week and it's something I will remember for a long time. I'm continually praying for your family and the good times you will be having together. Mr. Bishop is still there Cody, watching you play golf, and he is still there Mrs. Bishop embracing you with love. Thank you so much for letting me be apart of your lives, because you are a blessing in mine!

Bishop family,

Our family is still in heavy prayer for your comfort and peace. We are also very thankful that Russ is in no more pain and dancing on golden streets with The Almighty! Know that Russ will always have a special place in our hearts, as will you all.

Much love to you all..
