It's a date!

Yesterday, we heard from Dr. Cashman's office about my surgery date.  They will be doing the surgery on Thursday, May 29th, at 1:00pm.  As you can imagine, I wanted to get it done earlier but we are very appreciative that I'm getting in so soon.  Please continue to pray with us and we will continue to provide updates as new things arise.

We thank you all!!

Some of us might want to "hang out" at the hospital, Good Samaritan on E McDowell right?

Okay, guys, while Russ is laid up, ever want to ask him how to do something (like I have)? You know, that list on the frig that just gets longer. Now's your opportunity to join the "Just Ask Russ Club". For years, we've said "Just ask Russ".

I have a an of Durham's WATER PUTTY in front of me and I just finished a long overdue project. It was a couple of years ago that I just asked Russ how to fix a hole in the trim.

I just came in from the garage. Every time I pick up a tool, I wish Russ was in the garage with me. How many times did I hear him say politely, "Well, that's not the way I do it" and then he'd give his suggestion. Where did he learn all that stuff anyway? If Russ's mentor is out there, please step forward.

Remember the fancy golf cart with the ATV tires and chrome? Only Russ would do that stuff. Okay, back to the subject.

We have about five days of preparatory prayer time available before surgery. Let's put our best prayers forward. I can pray with a sander in my hand.

So thrilled to read that the surgery has been scheduled. You can sure count on us to continue praying; especially on the 29th.

Looking forward to seeing your smiling face the next time I visit the Valley!

Russ, Robyn and family,

I would like to share with you some verses that I claim and pray for your family.

Isaiah 54:5
For your Maker is your husband,
The Lord of hosts is His name;
And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel;He is called God of the whole earth.

Psalm 29: 10-11
The Lord sat enthroned at the Flood,
And the Lord sits as King forever.
The Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace.

Psalm 3:3-4
But You, O Lord, are a shield for me. My Glory and the One who lifts up my head. I cried out to the Lord with my voice,
And He heard me from His holy hill.

Psalm 5:1-3
Give ear to my words, O Lord,
Consider my meditation.
Give heed to the voice of my cry,
My King and my God,
For to you I will pray.
My voice you will hear in the morning, O Lord;
In the morning I will direct it to You,
And I will look up.

Psalm 138:3
In the day I cried out, You answered me,
And made me bold with strength in my soul.

Psalm 57:2
I will cry out to God Most High,
To God who performs all things for me.

Psalm 138:8
The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever;
Do not forsake the works of Your hands.

Jeremiah 1:8
.......For I am with you to deliver you," says the Lord.

Jeremiah 39:18
..For I will surely deliver you,
and you shall not fall by the sword;
but your life shall be as a prize to you, because you have put
your trust in Me,"says the Lord.'"

His wisdom will never lead you where His love wouldn't want you to go and His faithfulness can't keep you.

Psalm 94:18-19
If I say,"My foot slips," Your mercy,
O Lord, will hold me up.
In the multitude of my anxieties within me,
Your comforts delight my soul.

Psalm 63: 6-8
When I remember You on my bed,
I meditate on You in the night watches.
Because You have been my help,
Therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice.
My soul follows close behind You;
Your right hand upholds me.

Just remember....God is perfecting that which concerns you, so that He may be glorified!

Our love to each of you,
Lee Ann Feenstra
